Looks like Ian Coles career may be over
How's this work in our league. Can I also suspend him. Does he still count against the cap ect.
I believe suspensions still count. I'd suspect that if it comes out that he actually did this stuff (or more young girls speak up) that his contract may be terminated.

Worse comes to worst, you can just waive him and send him down. Who in their right mind will claim him?
It's the final year of his current contract with the Lightning. His future in hockey (and life) is up in the air.

If true, he will have no part of my team regardless. The victim is dealing with some very painful stuff. It is easier said than done, but I truly hope if Cole has done what being said that the victim(s) officially comes forward and charges him.

Considering they have a defense that is anchored by Dahlin and Power...Samuelsson can fill a niche as the big-body rugid stay-at-home guy. Small sample size in the NHL but the Sabres must be sold on him...paying him through the rest of his 20s.
They've got a lot of interesting pieces up front and you wonder which of those guys will emerge as their offensive drivers. Their pipeline is almost too full in terms of youth. They need to figure who they have. This will be a fascinating year to see this group's progress.
They made the interesting choice recently by naming Okposo the captain in the last year of his contract. Is there plans to keep him beyond this season or is he a caretaker captain?

Landy and Ekblad out long term… guys dropping like flies early season. Makes you wonder how insane the training is these days to get into the league with the speed and physicality… long careers may end up being a thing of the past.
Perhaps the post game 24 and shitty diet with leisure skates was the way to go…
