It's all about that other guy telling which team A-H is paired with that combination or just saying "it's one of those teams, hence a 2nd-phase drawn is needed".

Then again, there is another chance the specific team A-H is revealed when they do the broadcasted countdown to unveil the results.

PWC messed up the Oscars (or some other award show) a few years back, maybe we'll have another controversy

Not saying that’s easy to swallow. At least your slot was the same the entire night. Imagine thinking you’re going to draft byfield after watching the lottery and then all of a sudden you’re not. You go from being quite “high” to being kicked in the nuts.

Point here is thet I was of the understanding that I was LA in the lottery all of last night and up until 30 minutes ago when this bomb was dropped on me. That’s why this is so tough to take. Not only that but Boston wasn’t even active at all the entire season. Suppose to be penalized for that and instead it works out for that team to get the 2nd overall instead.

I’m not blaming anyone. I’m just saying that’s the way it would currently end without any change from the CC. Is what it is *shrug*. Not like I won’t be active once everything is up and going. I’m just demoralized because I’ve gone from like a 15 hour high to a feeling of being thrown off a cliff. It’s not easy.

Has no relevance to the league, but I’ve also had a most awful two weeks at work and this brought me out of that funk ever so slightly before the rug got pulled out from under me so to speak. Once again, I know there’s a decision to be made, but that’s just how I currently feel. There’s no animosity towards anyone or anything like that.

We'll announce something soon. What complicates this situation is Boston winning the 2nd pick in the lottery but they can't win a spot in the lottery because of GP. It's being sorted out. The only reason this a big deal was the fact I had the standings wrong last night.

no way this happens. Rules are clear about that:
"If the 1st round pick is still owned by the offending GM, his team will not be eligible to advance in the draft order as a result of the lottery"
