Well, let's just say...I don't want any offers until our season is through regardless of what we're allowed to do. I'm reading up on prospects and making sure my team reaches the GP minimum. Plus, I want to see the lottery results...that #1 isn't a guarantee yet.

After tomorrow, we'll know 168 of the 210 picks for the draft...the waiver draft will have picks 1-26 determined. I'll work on posting the order (with trades) this next week.

Here's what we know...the draft order that doesn't reflect trades:

1st Round
1. - 14. Based on lottery results
15. Anaheim
16. Chicago
17. N.Y. Rangers
18. Florida
19. Nashville
20. San Jose
21. N.Y. Islanders
22. Colorado
23. Tampa Bay
24. Minnesota
25. Pittsburgh
26. Boston
27. - 30. Based on playoff results

2nd Round (typical of rounds 2-7 and waiver draft)
31. Detroit
32. Dallas
33. Carolina
34. Vancouver
35. Edmonton
36. Calgary
37. Philadelphia
38. Buffalo
39. Winnipeg
40. Phoenix
41. Ottawa
42. Washington
43. Columbus
44. New Jersey
45. Anaheim
46. Chicago
47. N.Y. Rangers
48. Florida
49. Nashville
50. San Jose
51. N.Y. Islanders
52. Colorado
53. Tampa Bay
54. Minnesota
55. Pittsburgh
56. Boston
57. - 60. Based on playoff results

The four remaining teams in the playoffs, here is there order based on points (least to most)
Montreal 398 pts.
St. Louis 428 pts.
Los Angeles 460 pts.
Toronto 506 pts.

The two teams that lose in the semifinals are slotted 27th and 28th with the team with fewer points getting the 27th pick. Toronto is the only team that can't have the 27th pick and Montreal can't get the 28th pick. The champion gets the 30th pick while the finalist takes the 29th.

Following the NHL draft lottery, we'll know the entire order.

let me give you an honest and unbiased opinion if you don't mind.... pls keep the pick and pick your favourite guy! It's not the best draft but it will be the BEST for your team! don't field offers.. don't go mackinon -> OEL -> Myers!!! you would waste a year of rebuild!!!
whoever PMs you just tell them to fuck themselves!!

(p.s. unless your offer received is mackinnon)

btw, I will be honest, I forfeited my pick this year based on the luongo situation. So there's no 24th pick (it's a bad number anyway but if 24th pick can win the lottery I will fuck myself)

That's just the raw order...that's not including trades and penalties. Still some GP matters that could be dealt with for this year as well.

I'm sitting at 992 GP with 3 weeks left...108 games to reach the minimum (36 games per week). I'm averaging between 40-45 most weeks so I'm in solid shape.

I'm probably more on the side of keeping my pick and when I see Reinhart tearing it up in the WHL playoffs, it makes me feel even better about that decision. Don't need to be coy about who I'm looking at...it's definitely between Reinhart and Ekblad. If I end up 1st or 2nd overall, I'll be excited to get either guy.

love how much of a crapshoot this draft is.

I think any of Reinhart, Ekblad, Draisatl, Dal Colle or Bennett could easily end up being the best player from this draft.
