You guys are all wrong about SHTOI.

Look at how CBS tracks it for Tampa Bay "3.92" and then FanTrax has "3:55". Notice the difference? 92 seconds? No. It's a decimal and not a time like FanTrax.

They just record it differently, but it is the exact same result. :55/:60 = 0.916 which rounds to 0.92. Thus, 3.92 and 3:55 are the exact same number.

Ya Andy Greene's stats are definitely incorrect. Definitely not a great 1st impression by Fantrax, wonder what happened and when it will be adjusted.

this is a 10 page thread, the title of which suggests that we are discussing the possibility of moving to Fantrax. if im browsing the forums im avoiding this thread like the plague anticipating that it's 10 pages of bickering and arguing.

why is such an important announcement that we are changing platforms entirely on page 7 of a 10 page thread? i didn't even know we were changing until yesterday.

there isn't even anything in the announcement thread. perhaps a thread called "BBKL SWITCHING TO FANTRAX - PLEASE SIGN UP" would help.

if 14 GMs haven't signed up, maybe that's a sign that people don't know.

there were plenty of reasons given in a 10+ page thread. Just because you can't be bothered to read it or are too busy or whatever doesn't mean that the league as a whole stops functioning. Maybe if you bothered to take place in discussions rather than coming in to criticize blindly your posts would make more sense.

I don't think any advantage that CBS has over Fantrax was ever raised. Steve said he likes CBS better, but really hasn't given a reason why.

The costs were a factor that were being covered by only a few and the new site had improvements in areas that CBS lacked. Customer service was a big positive. I believe the decision (where no scoring or stat changes were made) came down to the people who pay the bills and once it was determined the new costs were covered by a big chunk of the league. Just like any change, growing pains will occur, but in the long run i think this was the right move. I think that same sentiment was echoed in that thread by at least 95% of people who posted.

and just for the record....the commissioner can manually adjust stats if need be
