I'll take the proven asset vs. 4 assets that have a long way to go before become permanent NHLers.

I've been a shit team with shit players for a very, very long time.

The fans in Philadelphia are screaming to have a good on ice product. Who am I to deny their desires?

I dont think it was an awful move, i think the outcome may have been better if you waited, but you did land the top 2 players of the day.

No more scouring for depth centers to fill that slot. 4 solid centers now with Duchene, Granlund, Dubinsky and Gagner. Actual NHL dmen on defense.

And no more Anthony Peluso in my active lineup.

GO figure, Grigorenko gets recalled and will probably play top 6 minutes to start the game.

The Sabres recalled Grigorenko from AHL Rochester on Tuesday, the team's official site reports.
Analysis: With forwards Chris Stewart, Torrey Mitchell and Brian Flynn having been dealt by the team at the NHL trade deadline, the Sabres have recalled the trio of Grigorenko, Tim Schaller and Jerry D'Amigo. Grigorenko has recorded just two points in 12 games with the big club to date this season, but if the ice time is there for him down the stretch, the 20-year-old could carve out some deep league fantasy utility. The Sabres are without top center Zemgus Girgensons and had been using Mitchell in that spot, but now that both are unavailable Grigorenko will likely be anointed as a top-2 center. His has tremendous upside given his talent but the Sabres are a weak squad and won't score very often.
