What are YOU giving me to switch systems?

You are the one who brought up goalies. Why would I want to add to a goalie system i dont even use, except for developing talent, to get another system i wouldnt use? I'd rather just keep my system cuz its deeper in prospects. I would be using dubnyk over Van or Ari.

I was trying to trade for just eddie lack, for mike smith, yes. I wasnt adding to get a goalie as my backup.

Eddie Lack has one good season on a better team. And he could go back to being a backup next year if Vancouver decides to keep him around until they need to pay him more, like they did with Schneider. Mike Smith has been good for multiple seasons. He had an atrocious first 40 games this season, and then put up a .922 sv percentage over the last 30 games of the season on a terrible team. If Arizona improves next season, his numbers will likely improve too. You could have had two legit starters in Smith and Miller. The deal didnt get done, and thats okay. But that doesnt mean i will give you Wennberg or something similar to get the entire Vancouver system when I already own a vezina candidate.

And who would that Vezina candidate be?

Dubnyk. He was nominated yesterday.

Regardless, let me get this right. Dubnyk is great despite a small sample size because he was nominated for Vezina, but Lack isn't worth much because he has a small sample size?
