I would be crazy to trade G to you and not expect Duchene back in the deal

You'd also be crazy to ask for Duchene and Eichel ;)

I don't think that price was too much. Perhaps you do but that's okay :D

It's pretty crazy ever since anton who was trying to sell G that nobody is brave enough to pay proper price... Hes the only one I kno who can score North of 8o pts with nearly 100 hits and 1000 fow... Those who has competed in bbkl know how important fow is... Im sure some of the offers are jokes (like frasers) but wow, I only wish I had the assets shiv wanted to get G...

Thank you Paul. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

That offer was no joke. Hartnell is an absolute god.

Love Hartnell but Gio + Rnh is what it would take.

It's funny. You're one of the few GMs with the pieces and the depth to acquire Giroux. Ah well.

I think that offer isn't bad to Fraser. I wouldn't trade Turris + Mackinnon for RNH + Gio which was the asking price to me.

Tell em Matt! These people are bargaining like they're in a flea market.

I have a very high opinion of RNH, and I'm not moving him until we see what the McDavid bump does for RNH's production. By the combination of split defensive match-ups as well as a loaded #1 PP unit, I think you could see a real boost in RNH offensive production next year. I would have expected a boost already based on how he was playing during the last month and a half or so of the season when he was over a PPG. Ignoring FOW he's already a superior periph center to Giroux as well. This time next year when we are comparing his season to Giroux's I don't anticipate there to be a gap as significant as a potential Norris candidate next year.

Well thought out argument. I don't agree with all of it, but respect your logic.

I will propose a public counter based on you giving such a detailed explanation:

Giroux for Giordano + Strome + Nielsen

Giroux is an elite asset, and I get the price your going after here. I'm just not interested enough to pay it.
