I will make a deal if it makes sense for me. If it doesn't.... Why would I? I'm not in to trade an asset to lose it. Ideally it is win-win.

Thom you forget I've been in hockey leagues with you for almost a decade now. It has to be outright rape for you to make a trade even when you're the one shopping the player

I think Thom's sentiment is right but Kyle's description is closer to the reality.KapG wroteCOLONThom you forget I've been in hockey leagues with you for almost a decade now. It has to be outright rape for you to make a trade even when you're the one shopping the player
No team will every improve with our quality of GMs with only rape trades IMO. Meanwhile, other GMs will trade with each other, help each other out, build relationships and the guy looking to rape will be left out in the cold still looking for his home run deal.

This is exactly how the BBKL has gone the past 2 years. Build relationships, talk to guys, give fair deals and get them back. If you became known as difficult to deal with then you better love your team because it's going to be hard to find a guy to deal with.Robin Hood wroteCOLONI think Thom's sentiment is right but Kyle's description is closer to the reality.KapG wroteCOLONThom you forget I've been in hockey leagues with you for almost a decade now. Again, each to their own, we all have a way that works (or doesn't work)

Ya that's the real world too. It's funny -- I've willingly lost trades to guys I like. Examples:The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONThis is exactly how the BBKL has gone the past 2 years.
