most of us will never meet. If i dont like someones offer i just reject and try to make a counter offer. If it's so bad that a counter offer is a waste of time i just say "no thanks"

I'd assume most of us hit us with the best offer we're going to make, so if it's awful and value is off, why waste each others time.

Some guys don't want to deal, but don't feel like saying that either.

others live in Ontario, Alberta, Maritimes, USA, etc...

it all goes back to - we'll never meet, so at the end of the day why does everyone hate one another. Make an offer, accept or reject and move on.

my main problem with Wiercioch is having his salary on my bench, taking away the 2nd value wise we would be there

i'd agrue the opposite, i've built a pretty good team (mike as well) but offering guys our top offer right from the start.

really, we all have different approaches that work.
