I thought Schmidt had a nice showing in the playoffs for the Caps...he'd be an intriguing option. McQuaid is probably the safest pick...you know what you'll get from him and he's got a nice AAV for the next couple years. Shinkaruk is still a fairly intriguing prospect. I'd pass on Beleskey if he's got other forwards he's coveting on other teams.

I went through and didn't even consider Beleskey. I took Schmidt here, but did debate on Shinkaruk as well.

That's cause he hasn't been online in the past 4 days and thus hasn't seen the PM I sent him.
