Ya too many injuries on my end and a few of my top guys only had 2 game weeks... wasn’t gonna happen.

Arian (EDM) needs to out goal or out pim Fraser (Van) today to catch him.

Hong (Minny) needs to out assist and out pim darkness (Dal) to catch him.

Tony (NYI) need to get lots of pim and blocks to beat Lee (phi).

Tampa needs a gwg and a bunch of pim to catch mike (toronto).

Loki (NJD) would need to win pims and then have a fluke category turn in his favour such as plus/minus in order to catch Bruyns (Buf)


So far it's shaking out as:

Western conference
LAK (Steve) vs Van (Fraser)
Nsh (Kyuss) vs Dallas (will)

Eastern Conference
Buffalo (bruyns) vs Toronto (mike)
Phi (Lee) vs Washington (thom)

...I like the chances of the Eastern wild card teams more than I like the Western wild cards.

I think that's held true up to today. Josh has gotten good goaltending this week but Mik has had control of that matchup.

Pretty competitive week with the exception of Steve and Thom winning big.

Glad to survive this struggle of a week (touching..), but doesn't look good in terms of my chances to get out of the Conference... looking at their current situation and next week schedule, I'd rather face MIN than the upgraded DAL team. Feels like I'd be fighting against the odds vs DAL.. and the winner gets Steve's team as a prize :/

Wasn't too optimistic going in as didn't match up well for the 1st week. Many of the deadline deals really had a negative impact on my team, particularly Granlund, losing his FOW's filling in for Koivu was a big blow. Along with Giroux/Kane having only 2gms this week vs 4 for Bergeron proved too much to overcome. Played out pretty much as I expected, knew I was going to win one of the toss ups in +/-/PIM/GWG to make it close, but wasn't meant to be. Had a bit of hope Saturday night with Andersen holding a potential SO going late into third, but of course the leafs blow it. And Tuch held the GWG against Van all the way to the 3rd, but that of course gets taking out. Just wasn't meant to be.
