you've been listening to way too much of scotts "the world is out to get me" mumbo jumbo. Any established GM has been able to make massive overpayments without the word veto thrown around, its when its a new GM or a less established GM makes a deal with Scott that is clearly one sided that people speak up. It just happens so frequently that it seems like everyone is out to get scott. Just look at Kareems past and how many overpayments he has made for players he wanted IE John Carlson deal with myself. This isnt the league being uncompetitive in any way lol.

Maybe, maybe not. But what's really funny about this is that you say it as if I'm the only GM who has taken advantage of someone. I can think of plenty of deals that have been someone taking advantage of a new/retarded GM. This is why we have the 2 week trade freeze when a new GM enters and have had for quite sometime now.

As for the "the world world is out to get me" statement.. I'm not into conspiracies but there's absolutely ZERO doubt that the majority in this league is jealous of the trades I make and the accomplishments I've achieved. I'm almost hating because of it, which is absolutely fine. But, this is why I decided to back off this year and let someone else win.

scott. no one is jealous of you. if people are that's sad. but what's also sad is that you felt the need to post that you'd "let" other people win. start a league from scratch today where you don't have the head start you did and this league is a whole different story.

Now go and check Bry's team when he took over. HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A GOALIE LOL. Considering he almost beat you this year, it's insulting his work as a gm when you say you are going to "let" others win. Not only that it's overlooking how much better of a job Bry did in GMing his team to a final when his team was in shambles when he took over.

The quality of GMs in this league has SIGNIFICANTLY improved since you had all this time to rape the 50 or so gms that came through this league.

You won twice and that's great. But don't insult the gms in the league like a tool. I'd be happy to set up a money league with everyone in this league on the side and then see how you do when everyone starts off on the same footing.

GMs can make different kinds of mistakes/bad decisions, if his team doesn't come close to win next season despite its starting point, it will still be because of mistakes no matter the kind of..
and btw, feeling the need to let other wins (or rather, needing excuses for when he will lose to better competition) it's a bad mistake if you ask me.

The unfortunate thing in all of this is that he doesn't care about altering the competition around the league when giving up great assets for lesser former Knights.
But hey, Scott clearly is one of the best and greatest contributors for the league, so i guess we just have to get the goods and the bads that comes with him.
