if Scott does find a way to 3-peat, we should all be ashamed of ourselves. because unlike years past, there is no excuse this year.

well.. its not really an excuse.

he came in wanting to win year one (smart when most people were wanting to rebuild... thanks to the boards/broads)

He doesn't get emotionally attached to players like most GMs (I'm amongst the worst for that).

Scott steps up and trades with new GMs before anyone else gets deals done (...)

Shiv just says this stuff to make himself feel better.. and really, it doesn't matter at all. If I win it's because I made good decisions, stayed relatively healthy, and had some luck along the way. Just like every other year. Sorry for being ahead of everyone else when the league first begun and making good trades to try and win. To be honest, it was a joke that everyone wanted to rebuild like they like the Leafs should've done.. wasn't my fault.
