LOL yeah Frattin and Gardiner being in the minors will be the reason why we miss the playoffs.
#homer?
So speed and winning puck battles are our weapons and we're sending down players who bring those traits much more then the players replacing them? Calling me a homer for thinking that Matt and Jake were contributing members?
It's going to be a season long battle for the playoffs, and it could come down to just a few points. IMO we're more likely to win with them in, so... yes if we miss and if it's just by a point or two, it's very possible that 1 or 2 wrong roster moves can be to blame?
How was Komi last night? Add a ton eh? His skating didn't contribute to any of our goals against?
If you're just trolling good job, but if you think Komi, Franson, or Schenn are helping the leafs win more then Jake I disagree a huge amount. X2 on Lomabrdi or Brown (although he is playing a role) adding more then what Matt was doing... hell since his first two what has Nazem done aside from some soft plays and blueline turnovers?
Bozak, Frattin and Gardiner... yep they're all young and none are elite skills, but they were and are all important pieces in our team, IMO.

Lets play count the question marks.

I stopped reading there, you lost all credibility at that point. Jake Gardiner and Matt Frattin are big contributors, but Nazem Kadri has done nothing aside from his first two games...

Never said big.
And haven't been happy with Kadri's play lately; sorry I shouldn't call out the saviour
Cannot wait for this trade to happen.

You haven't been happy with Kadri's play, but you think Frattin and Gardiner are the difference between the Leafs making the playoffs and missing it...I'm sorry Nick, but that is a load of bs. Kadri has EASILY been better than either, and I wouldn't even hinge our playoff hopes on him being in our out of the lineup.

1 game could be the difference for us to be in or out of the playoffs, doesn't matter when in the season those points are won/lost.
You're reading different words then I'm writing Kareem. Not saying Frattin > Kadri.
IMO we won games with out speed and puck pursuit, we're not dressing the lineup that does that best.
Kadri needs to be moved up to PP1 where MacArthur is, probably reunited with Connolly where he was actually see/able making plays (true for Tim as well).
Reuinite the MacArthur-Grab-Kulemin line.
Bozak obviously back in with Kessel and Lupuls
Crabb isn't going to be making plays with Tim and Naz so I'd move him back to the marlies... Frattin up.
Boyce-Stecks-Brown as our plumbers...
With Gunner, Schenn, Komi & Franson all dressed we're more then 'not fast', we're outright slow. Liles and Gardiner were big parts of our team speed.
Yes I think a few roster moves can make or break our playoffs.

There are so many variables that come into play, it's not as easy as your making it out to be. Take Crabb for instance, he needs to clear waivers to go back down, adding Liles and Gardiner hinders the size of the defence which makes the Leafs even weaker behind the red line, Armstrong is due back soon which means you would be relegating Frattin to the 4th line, a role he doesn't fulfill as well as others, and hurts his development. The Leafs know what they are doing, they wouldn't intentionally weaken their team.

Although I agree Burke knows what he is doing, sometimes I think/know he's concerned about trades as well as the best team on the ice.
I know Crabb requires waivers and I suspect he'd go unclaimed, if BB believe's otherwise i'd suggest he looks at trade opportunities.?

I think Crabb would be snapped up rather easily on waivers, he is a very useful bottom 6 player who can fill in on the second line if need be, he's definitely not a problem spot for the Leafs.

Criticizing Kadri, no big deal.
Criticizing Schenn, you may as well go lynching. Same result.
