The Ultimate Fantasy Hockey Experience

Some good stuff here, welcome!thom54 wroteCOLONPlayed university rugby for 5 years, can't anymore due to concussion and 80 year old knees. So I did the natural thing for someone with head troubles and knee issues. I now play goalie on the ice! Absolutely Love it.
I'm a Leaf fan through and through, not a band wagoner. I like Burke, but not all of his decisions. But honestly, fantasy has turned me into way more of a fan of hockey, I love the inner workings of sports in general, from the business to strategic foresight to leadership paradigms (hellllo CGY! They should be called the dinosaurs for what they went through with the Sutter's)
Smart players. love them. Datsyuk I think is painfully underrated by the general hockey fan. Freakin' love how Quick is extremely aggressive when he plays and loves looking under players instead of the typical attempt to look over their shoulders. Rinne...best glove in the league and Mitch Korn (their goalie coach) is a great goalie coach, wish Toronto had him for sure.
Hasek: best goalie of all time. Bring it Brodeur lovers.
I'm glad there's a place here to actually have intelligent hockey conversations. TSN trolling jsut doesn't cut it.
I'm just surprised that the Sens fan that we do have (Josh) is actually functionally literate. I'm still shocked.thom54 wroteCOLONJust so long as there aren't any Boston or Montreal fans here.... Sens? HA, they are fair weather fans at the best. They'd just be happy that anyone mentioned them.
You make it seem like there is something smart about cheering for a team that hasn't won since '67?Chris wroteCOLONI'm just surprised that the Sens fan that we do have (Josh) is actually functionally literate. Remind me what year the Senators last wo... oh. Darn. I mean, it's bad enough your last Cup win was in 1927, but to completely give up on a team, lose it, then get it back, get caught tanking, apply for bankruptcy, and still have troubling financial issues?Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONYou make it seem like there is something smart about cheering for a team that hasn't won since '67?Chris wroteCOLONI'm just surprised that the Sens fan that we do have (Josh) is actually functionally literate. Rambling on about old jokes -- much like Sens fans. Whoops.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONBut to have a global depression causing a team to relocate, be a bad expansion team, and struggle through further recessions because you are a small market team. I can say a whole lot of things in a rambling sentence too to try and prove a point.
GG statement right hereKapG wroteCOLONIf you wanna talk playoffs, what's Ottawa's record against us during them?
