Ya it's just that I never really saw this coming... McBain/MAB/Shane O'Brien/Langenbrunner (understandable)/Derek Smith all getting the shaft over the youngsters on these teams. I think the shortened season really put these guys behind the depth chart too. The Leafs aren't the only team around the league experimenting with youngsters I tell ya.

On a side note, I think Kyle G gets most improved GM of the year this year.

Yeah C Gillies, Martinek and Barker are all getting scratched for me and Eaves was scratched and is now back in lineup.

But whatever Conacher, Heatley and Nikitin are all looking awesome out of the gate so I'm happy.
The main reason I'm in bbkl is so that when a prospect i've been following for a while like conacher starts to get hot I can get super excited and fist pump every time he gets an assist.
