Fla to Q-City.
Seattle is a lock to get a team IMO and all expansion teams will be QC/TOR2 for the largest fee possible. Re-location fee is much more doable for a team like KC than the expansion fee one can get from a team in QC.

Although its not ideal, I do enjoy a new twist on the standings.

Bruce Garrioch @ SunGarrioch

The Senators will be with Boston, Detroit, Buffalo, Montreal, Toronto, Tampa Bay and Florida when governors rubberstamp realignment.

Excited to play the Panther and Lightning more.

at least we get to play Buffalo more, they look like they are on the down (hopefully)

They could be scary when all of the top prospects start to develop tho.

It's official now!

so.. let's see....

Hong, Shep, Anton, Pete, Luke and the newcomer...

bolded are the additions, while no more bcool and shoalzie.

mmh.. it's going to be more interesting with this widened division!

5 already competitive teams (don't think Anton plans to tank further than this season), seems to me like the stronger Western division.

lol what?

btw, i'd like to avoid 3 or 4 yrs of Eastern GMs whining about the different odds in the 2 conferences, so why not making the wild cards for 4th division spot a league-wide thing instead of a conference thing?

The NHL does things that way because of travels and time zones, but we don't share those problems..

or we could leave one of Detroit/Columbus in the West. But i know Nick would hate it cause it would complicate the schedule.

Problem solved: Top 4 teams from each conference make the play offs. Sucks for East but whatever.

Mike, Kyle, Billy, Chuck, & Scott - hope you welcome Chris & I into 'your' division with some easy wins and lucky breaks!
