Yeah I'm willing to take the risk they're looking to win rather than draft high.

Peter wins the bet. Schneider plays big gp to win as much as possible. Love Marty, but age catches up with everyone.

That changes things. I thought it was an easy win for Shep before this. But now it's a close race.

I understand where everybody is coming from, but IMO there isn't a chance they embarrass Marty as a back-up goaltender in his final NHL season if he's still playing adequately. Schneider was constantly sheltered in his playing time in Vancouver.
We'll see. It's imaginary 2nd rounder, so it's not a big deal if I am way off on my projections.

The bet wager should've been for a 2014 1st rounder (CAR) and 2014 1st rounder (DAL) IMO

You're right. Cory isn't as known as many like to act, and Marty deserves nothing but the best treatment from that organization, Lou doesn't f-around.

I think it will be close given the 1st isn't an issue. Could go 41-41. Before this I thought it'd be 50-30 Marty.

I think they'll give Marty a fair amount of home starts for the fans but let Schneider take mostly all the road games.

The East is going to be very competitive with the defending Western champs moving over and the realigned Atlantic will be a brutal test (tell me about it). I'm going to predict the champ will come out of that division...Mike, Nick and Kyle are the favorites with Chuck and BIlly as sleepers.
Hard to not like Steve's team, he's always a contender. I love the battle at the top of the Central between Shep, Anton and Hong. Shooker is a sleeper in the West but I'll predict the conference champ comes from the Central.
I'll say Toronto over St. Louis for the BBKL crown...this is Mike's year.
As for me, I'll have a better team than last year but just based on new (tougher) opposition, I can't help but finish near the bottom. Getting points off the top teams in the conference is going to difficult. Gotta stay patient and I've been happy with this offseason and the last two drafts...it'll only get better.

Thanks Shoalzie! I need to still to make moves to compete for the title, though.

You've always had one of the best collections of wingers in our league...the centers aren't bad but they don't quite stack up to the other top teams. That's your only weakness, if you can call it that.

Yeah, I do like my wingers a lot atm.
Semin, Ryan, Eriksson, van Riemsdyk, Landeskog, Moulson, Simmonds, Cooke
