Nybeck is gonna be a stud

nybeck's overall game is much more complete than pashin is, as he's a very effective penalty killer along with his knack for his offence. nybeck is also massive for his height, weighing in at about 180 lbs with a full frame VS pashin's barely 160 lbs
some argue pashin has a lot better offensive instincts and is "more skilled" but as you know it's not all that's required to succeed in the NHL and he will require a lot more development moving forward to be NHL ready

After the first two rounds, I'll take a shot on the more skilled, less developped player more than a physically fit one with decent skill. But that's just my draft strategy. I like the boom or bust prospects. You can't teach skill, and it's easier to put on weight/strength.

I dont like nybeck at all. I think hes a hard bust. Dont think his game translates along with his size.

Waiting for a PM to get opened, should get a deal done but it’s been a long wait

Just a comment on the size since that seems the biggest knock on pashin

It's more than him just being smallz but rather a combination of him being small and not a very good skater. Have a hard time seeing his game translate without him both getting stronger and improving his skating a lot.

I've read plenty that say his skating is dynamic and a strength which obviously is important at that size.

I dont expect Pashin to be amazing but it was worth the risk at pick 122.
