Gustavsson fucking blows, and has for all but about 5% of his NHL games.

we need reims back, no secret.
but i can also count on 1 hand the number of games in which we put together a 60 minute effort.
habs (opening night)
ottawa (kessel hat trick)
rangers
devils
even columbus took it to us in the second half. this team definitely takes long stretches of time off in games and now it's starting to bite us in the ass.

Mike wroteCOLONMSP4LYFE wroteCOLONI'd be really interested in making a play for Henrik Karlsson. Henrik is incredibly talented, has size, and respectable numbers behind a mediocre team. With Kipper ahead of him, and Irving/Ortio not far behind, Karlsson could be expendable for help down the middle (Matthew Lombardi), or some increased depth and size on the blueline (Cody Franson). If I were Brian Burke, that is the phone call I would be making, Karlsson can step in now, and has the potential to perhaps even supplant James Reimer moving forward.
Could have had him for free this summer.
I'm pretty sure he signed with CGY before July 1st.

Few teams control a game for 60 minutes, especially this early in the season, I don't understand why so many Leaf fans (not pointing the finger at you) think it's just the Leafs.

i dont expect them to control the game the entire time, but i also dont expect the first period to be night and day from the other 2 every single night.

It's been less of an issue the last few games, but I agree, the Leafs need to get to a better start.

Nice to see the Toronto faithful booing their team off of the ice after only 2 losses in a row. I thought only Montreal was up to that.

I know but they have been playing fantastic to start the year. The pieces are in place. I just hate seeing any team being booed by there home fans, that includes in Boston. I expect it from Montreal but it surprises me when any other city does it.

it's not like we've abandoned any faith in the team. they played like shit and they deserved to be booed.
pretty simple really. they play well next game and they'll be heroes again. i quite like that fact the the fans make guys accountable for what they do on the ice on a nightly basis.
there are people who paid upwards of $300 a ticket to watch boston annihilate us 7-0. id boo too.

It is worth noting that Reimer did not lose consciousness, and has full recollection of the incident, it is incredibly rare to sustain a grade two or higher concussion without having those symptoms.

Stanley cup champs are back. Hangover is done. They are streak killers and top seed slayers. 25 goals last 4 games. Not bad for a bunch of unskilled grinders. Toronto, Edmonton, Ottawa all HOT teams taken out with dominance. This in turn means the BBKL Bruins are back. Enjoy those beat downs Mike and Billy.

Leafs are tied for first, and Lead their division, where are the Bruins ranked again?

They are 14 games in and outside of the playoffs. I am totally fine with where they sit right now. The way they are playing, cup in back pocket. Hangover was very evident. Its nice that its gone. What was the score the other night against this division leading powerhouse?

Meh, Leafs are without: Reimer, Armstrong, and Connolly, what is the Bruins excuse?
