They are 14 games in and outside of the playoffs. I am totally fine with where they sit right now. The way they are playing, cup in back pocket. Hangover was very evident. Its nice that its gone. What was the score the other night against this division leading powerhouse?
Meh, Leafs are without: Reimer, Armstrong, and Connolly, what is the Bruins excuse?
There is no excuse, only fact. Leafs have been in offseason training since end of April, Bruins since end of June. IMO winning the cup must take your eyes off the prize after a short summer of being hammered near every day. I'll take the cup with a slow start and being in 10th spot any day....

No one is debating any of that, you are formulating a new argument that fails to counter my argument. Remove Bergeron (Bruins top line center), Peverley (third line catalyst), and Tim Thomas (starting goaltender) from the Bruins lineup and Boston won't fair much better than the Leafs currently. The Leafs whooped Boston last season, where was the cockiness then? It's early in the season, and the Leafs have not played one game fully healthy, I am not worried in the slightest.

The battle rages on. I actually don't dislike the Leafs and would love for them to make a playoff run because i think it would be exciting to watch unfold. It is the fans(in general) that i find to be quite delusional. Leafs are the best, every other team blows and if they are good it is for some fluky reason. I do not get why more Leaf fans could not be a bit more humble. I am convinced that the team is cursed because every year is the same thing and the same argument. The fans jinx the whole team. Win 10 games and the streets are already clearing for the parade. You honestly think i do not understand the importance of injuries? Go down the Bruins roster the last few seasons and see how many man games are lost there. I get it....

DOn't lump us all together Kyle.. what's the ratio of humble to non-humble Leafs fans around here?

Pretty sure it's just the ratio of fans... more fans = more douche bags, humbles, delusionals, great, good, optimistic, pessimistic...and if vancouver, rioters.

It is the sheer number of fans. More fans more idiots, more idiots feeding the idiots. The loudest ones tend to be the most delusional, also if your reading something over the internet remember it may have been written be a 12 year old..

True enough. I know. I've been to quite a few Bruins games and let me tell you the ratio at the rink is pretty scary. You want to talk about an obnoxious group of uneducated hockey fans.
My buddy and i went to a Habs Bruins game 2 years ago. We sat in different seats. He wore a habs jersey. He did not have a good time. Kinda felt bad for him as a few idiots ruined his first NHL experience.

Ya, I watched that last night.. it'll be a big one no doubt. Started a brawl at the end of the game. I bet there will be a few suspensions. I think Rupert will get 15 games probably.. big loss for my Knights too.
Also, Knight, Donnay, and Matt Rupert could get suspended for 1 or 2 games each too but could also get nothing too..

I see a HUGE suspension for that...15 seems at the low end to me, that's an unprovoked hostile and dangerous act, not part in hockey, banned from the OHL wouldn't be too extreme for me.

Ya, it was bad but it wasn't unprovoked at all. The Hound player was taunting him and had his hands raised and skated in to Rupert. Still unacceptable but it isn't as if the Hounds player was completely innocent.

He was skating back to his bench/teammates, and it wasn't directed at Rupert from what I've seen - if you watched the game were they having issues during the game?
edit: ye the bump into him is bad, still unsure if it was intentional.

I seen a few incidents where the Rupert boys were pushing and shoving after the whistle but nothing too serious. The Rupert boys HATE losing and have great attitudes.. any team would be lucky to have them.
As for the Hounds guy, no.. he skated in to Rupert intentionally.. he wasn't skating towards his bench at all. And usually when the game is over, you skate towards your goalie for the congrats at the end.. he was skating in the complete opposite direction.

It'll be over 25 IMO easy. Wasn't entirely unprovoked, but insanely disproportioned response.
