I'll do one, same as Scott, based strictly on what I feel I would rank them.

I'll do a "based on BBKL Picks" closer to our draft.

7. Atlanta Thrashers - Dougie Hamilton
8. Colombus Blue Jackets - Ryan Murphy - Steal back here

cant wait for UND next season with Grimaldi+JT Miller on that roster.
added to their young core of Corban Knight Derek Forbort and Brock Nelson
even if Grimaldi never makes the nhl, hes gonna rape the ncaa.

I 100% agree and if he does bonus for the dude with the 5th pick in the NHL & BBKL.. Larsson, imo has the ability and skillset to become the best player from this draft..

Disagree imo Larsson is a 30 point well round defencemen, I dont see a huge offensive game in him.

See, the way I see Larsson is that he's the safest pick anywhere in the draft. Sure to be an NHLer, sure to be Top-4 D-man and brings a wicked compete level along with a very typical NHL package. Yes he has upside past that, but simply hasn't been showing lots of it.

Whereas basically every other prospect has some REAL bust potential, well aside from Couturier (who also just doesn't seem AS likely to be a super-star, but is a lock IMO for a solid 2-way player). RNH is one of the bigger risks in the draft IMO, but producing the way he has, while being the pivot point for all of his teams offence means he's perhaps the most likely to be a big impact offensive player...risk is worth the reward.

From my POV Talon has a nice D-core all setup in FLA. What he still lacks is a player with real scoring punch, and IMO (no lie...or ?) the best goal-scorer in this draft is Hubs, and the kid has character which Talon is well known for putting a heavy emphasis on. Then IMO @ 4 it's a toss-up between Sean & Adam.

I disagree. As soon as RNH puts on weight he'll be the best player, bar-none, from this draft.

I agree Nick.. I just simply meant that with Larsson's skating, his ability to be a shutdown guy, and his big frame to go along with his smarts.. he has the potential to be a top player from this draft.. probably has the ability to be the best of the bunch. Do I think it will happen? No but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

I just think his poor numbers are likely due to him playing against bigger, faster, stronger men. I'm not the biggest fan of Larsson but I haven't seen him play a ton either. I just feel Larsson's drop in the ranks could become a real bonus to whomever selects him.. like you say, he's a real safe pick with the ability to become a very good player.

I said -> Risk is worth the reward and that he has the potential to have the most offensive impact of any player in the draft...
