For those who haven't seen, our entry draft is this coming Monday.

can someone pin the league announcement thread at (recent topic) or at the very top when login bbkl... it is difficult to find and I didn't even notice something was posted until some dude spam me to make my pick...………….. please...

I've pinned the announcement thread as an announcement...clever, right?

I changed the draft thread back to a standard thread. You guys should be able to find it without a problem and it'll have ongoing activity so it'll show up under recent when someone makes a pick. Anything draft related will be in the "Entry Draft" forum.

I'll move some of the important league matters into a separate forum and also separate general NHL talk into its own forum. I'll leave "General Discussion" for the usual birthday wishes and other assorted league fun.

A lot of important threads get washed away and even I have a hard time finding something when I need it. That's mostly why I cleaned up the trade forum so it's easy to keep blocks and actual posted trades in their own space.

It's going to be a while until the next season starts so I'll try to help make things better around here and I'm still working on updating the sheets for next season. Fingers crossed I can have those ready by the end of the month/end of our draft. I'll try to get an expansion draft tool added to your sheets later this summer.

ha... took 5 min for a genius like me to find the announcement thread.. it got washed away I didn't even know the draft started even I come on daily at night time hktime…………...

Kind of take for granted that just because something gets posted, it doesn't mean everyone will see it.

We can improve how all of that works. Maybe instead of a single announcement thread, have league news as a forum and each major announcement gets their own thread and you guys can discuss it there instead of the separate catch-all discussion thread. These mega-threads devolve into so many off-topic side chats anyway that it's hard to keep track what we even are talking about.

There's better ways to stay organized than just dumping everything into the same thread for several years.
