Besides.. i think its their top assets afterall.. it is of their best interest to maximize their return when the value of the pick is at its highest.. and have to accept the fact that we (well mainly me loki fraser and mik) r living in different timezones and everyone r busy dealing with their lifes.. so give some patience

Taking a goalie in the 1st is silly. Vasilevskiy is the only decent one to come out of the 1st in the past 10 years. Just as easy to find a good goalie in the 3rd+ as the 1st.

In the real NHL? Yeah considering there have been what 3 goalies taken in the 1st in the past decade. In this league though where goalie value is stupid? If you think a goalie will be in the NHL someday you better take him. Good chance one of the other guys I was considering makes it to 28. Plus I figured between Lee and Mike at 19 and 20 one of them would take him.

All 1st round goalies. Just look at the round starting NHL goalies were taken in. Much smarter to take 2 in the mid-late rounds than take one as high as 16th

It's not about where it's about who. Why would I take 2 goalies in the 3rd I don't like over one that I feel is the best goalie prospect in NCAA right now? Not one other goalie in this draft had the total package Oettinger has to offer. At the end of the day you either trust you're right about a player or you don't. I'm confident Oettinger will be in the NHL someday.

Still doesn't explain why it took 11.5 hours
