1. Nathan Mackinnon
2. Aleksander Barkov
3. Seth Jones
4. Sean Monahan
5. Elias Lindholm
6. Jonathan Drouin
7. Hunter Shinkaruk
8. Curtis Lazar
9. Ristolainen
10. Pulock
And that's saying a lot because I consider Curtis Lazar a top 5 talent. Plus Ristolainen and Pulock could really jump up. Drouin and Shinkaruk are incredibly skilled, while I think Lindholm is the best draft eligible prospect playing in the SEL since Backstrom.
We almost agree entirely on our list, I'd put Monahan above Jones, simply not enough production out of Jones for me, and the 'lumbering' comment is very relevant, and although he has the physical ability to do more, he often does not.
Lindholm is sick, very hard to place. Barkov is going to be a dominant NHLer, but something about Mackinnon tells me this is a kid you win stanley cups with -> that's more then RNH, Landy, Seguin etc... on champion level with Stamkos & Hall.
Seguin is the only player on that list with a Cup, Hall hasn't even played in the NHL playoffs, and Stamkos was invisible for most of Tampa Bay's Stanley Cup Run in 2011. Way too early to say who is or isn't a big game player.

Jake Gardiner just scored on the rush after a drop pass from Kadri. 1st goal of the 2012/2013 season for the Marlies...

Gardiner, Colborne, Hamilton, Kadri, Ziggo were the Marlies standouts in that game.

just got back from the game, biit drunk but gardiner is really fucking good. colborne and kadri each looked dangerous and hamilton played great. scriven was exceptional, though pretty unchallenged.
ranger didnt have a great first showing and mckegg/d'amigo didnt see a lot of ice. i dont know if it showed on TV much but komarov is such a ratty little fuck. constant little spears/slashes/elbows...loved him.

I hate that I don't have consistent access to Moose Jaw Warriors games, it must be a treat to watch Rielly night in and night out.

One has to think if we have NHL in 2013-14 Rielly will win a top 4 role on the leafs backend.

I just like how it's cast as if only the NHL has used focus groups; in what world is the NHLPA not a super-rich organization that can afford pollsters?
Maybe i'm desensitized to it because of the industries i've worked in, but for relatively cheap a lot of information can be had.

If the players take 50-50...offers on other keys issues as follows...
Free Agency would be at 28 and 8 years of service
Entry Level Contracts would be 4 years in Length
Revenue sharing would be at or near 200 million dollars
Contract Lengths would be 5 years.
Arbitration would still exist
Accept the god damn deal NHLPA..

I wonder if this was a poll result? HAHHA
It is infuriating that it took this long for the deal that a lot of us saw coming. Hope I didn't just jynx it... but damn I want hockey back.

I can see the PA wanting to negociate the contract maximum a bit but the rest is very good offer by the NHL especially since this is under the existing definition of HRR

Salaries for NHLers playing in the AHL would be part of the cap.
Hmm how would BBKL deal with this (priorities)?
