It was Scott, and his buddy "jcarton" was the Flames GM. Whether they were real buddies or not, it turned out that Scott was logging in as jcarton and was caught by sending a message as jcarton thinking he was logged in as Scott (IIRC).
What probably happened was that they were real life buddies, but then jcarton got bored. Scott wanted guys and jcarton just said "here is my login info, just make the trade and accept it, I don't care" as Scott was consistently raping him in trades.
Some of that is speculation, but Scott (NJ GM) and jcarton (CGY GM) were at one point caught as Scott was logging in and acting as both teams. That's when it was kcyabye for the idiot.

I seemed to remember he was actually kicked out because he abused of his mod's powers and deleted at least a post made by someone else. But maybe I was not aware of the whole thing, not sure everything was ever made public about that case.
Obviously if what you wrote above was proven stuff it would have been more than enough to kick him out already, so not sure it was ever proven (albeit that bored jcarton scenario seems realistic to me) if the reason for his ejection was the mod powers abuse instead

I think it was proven that he was controlling both accounts, at least at some point. Abusing mod powers would've just been more fuel.

Dont b so harsh guys. He just happened to love snorting cocaine on the daily while working as an addictions counsellor and then destroyed his family in the process of losing his father and went missing so his ex wife messaged steve on fb out of concern because he was suicidal and shouldnt be roaming around by himself

Maybe you were how Sharky was able to get a clean IP in China one time. Still not sure how he pulled that one off.

Wasn't through a VPN. He had been running a clean IP in Calgary but VPN at all other times. When pressured he was able to claim that an Asian from Vancouver was visiting Hong Kong or somewhere over there and produce a clean IP. But then it kept coming up as California and Florida so not sure how he pulled that off the one time.
