Sabres have every right to be upset over that Tootoo imo was out of line doing that, but it is hockey and taking runs at injured guys is not exactly far from the norm hence the policy of not revealing what exactly is wrong with players. Out of the whole thing though Gaustad pointing at Lindback is ridiculous, you're gonna start running a 23 year old goalie who has done nothing wrong, you'll get your chance to get at Tootoo if you want it, but don't threaten someone else's career over this. Understand why he did it, just bothers me that it puts a young player in the line of fire over something he had zero control over...

It's a team thing. You hit our star we hit yours. You hit our goalie, we hit yours. Lindbacks team put him in that situation.

Clode runs a tight ship. No one is above his rules or system. Even the young star. I like it.

It's just hilarious that Kessel adhered to the rules of the Boston Bruins when he was there, acting like a mature human being, and Seguin's the one who can't act like a professional. What a fucking loser.

Well i wouldn't go that far. Kessel was also a little bitch most of the time. I have a feeling Seguin is going to be that type of guy though too. He is the guy that never signs autographs for kids or talks to the fans. Not good for such a young kid especially when the rest of the team is very active in the community and always interacts with the young fans especially. I hope i'm wrong about him.

Based on what? Kessel has done nothing but community work since he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Not only that, there are videos on Youtube showing him with children who have suffered from some forms of cancer. Meanwhile, Seguin acts like an entitled little cunt who thinks he's above reproach. Whatever.

I can't disagree about Seguin. I just hope Recchi could instill enough in him before he left. Bergeron will set him on the right track i hope. He has the world in his hands. He could very easily go the wrong way. But, if there is a coach to curb such activity, it would be Claude Julien. Kessel sat in the pressbox on more than one occasion for bad attitude and undisciplined play. i do think however, that his social retard like ways, got blown out of proportion by the media and the guy would never go in front of the camera to give his side. He has come a long way in those regards.

Holy shit, look at the SHTOI for the NHL.

1st: Beauchemin - 140:21
2nd: Smid - 108:56
3rd: Lydman 108:42

Beauchemin just crushing the SHTOI.

Heres Seguin's quotes when asked about the scratch:

It is a mistake, something you can only learn from and move on, Seguin said after watching the team’s 2-1 loss to the Jets from the top floor. I know it was a mistake. I know it wasn’t professional. You’ve got to pay the consequences.

Any time you have to go in the stands, I wasn’t happy with myself, he said. I told myself I never want to be back up there again. You watch the game and there isn’t anything you can do about it. That isn’t a feeling I want to have again.

You guys are reading into this too much, Tyler Seguin has fantastic character, those that know him have only positive things to say. So what if he slept in? I do it all the time, and I'm sure everyone else has been guilty of the same before.

Oh man, I can remember a time or two in my younger days where I was woken up by my boss on the telephone asking why I wasn't at work yet. Lol

Obviously similar thing happened with Emery being late for morning practice, but that was counted as a lot more severe of an offense because it's team fucking practice... and if you aren't on time (even if by a minute) they'll howl on you because I dunno how much people know about 'being a professional', but it's just really about the general conduct and setting the standard. If things like this would be looked over and ignored all the time, the person bearing the title of a professional doesn't really deserve to don it. This certainly doesn't mean that Seguin will be subsequently be benched for no reason now, but he OR any other NHL player will get to see the bird's eye view for a game every time he misses/is late for meetings/practices in the future. It's as simple as that. Not much in-depth debating need to take place about it... There are plenty of 'professionals' in their respective work field and they sleep in for work time to time, myself included... technically, if the boss was on site every day, they'd probably have gotten the shaft, but really it's about who you can impress and the right time and place to do it without getting caught lol

He wouldn't be scratched for a single incident. Apparently this is a recurring thing and they had enough. Need to set him straight asap. Apparently Marchand, Seguin, and McQuaid are quite the party animals. Wouldn't be the first time some Maritime boys corrupted a Westerner with the level of partying, lol. Friend of a friends roomate is Marchands best friend. They went to Boston for Leafs game last weekend. They partied it up hard at MArchands place after game with Seguin then went to Pats game and were completely trashed again. When the guys got up to leave on Monday morning Seguin was passed out with 3 smokin hot chicks. Oh too be young and studly like that. I would be working that over too. Rock on Seguin..represent..

Seriously what I had typed out...and then decided that if you didn't understand that on first glance, you're the same person that would deny it even once told. :o
