sorry, all I hear in this city now a days is the left wing media having a fucking field day (rightfully so with regards to his personal life) with Ford. I'm so tired of it lol. The citizens too. I see people wearing badges and buttons that say "If you voted ford, you owe me an apology!" LOL wat?! No i dont.Lee wroteCOLONNot a leftie nor am I in Toronto
TBH I don't even know the difference between left and right in a political sense.

fyi - i hate the NDP - they are society and economy killers - but that gives u an idea of left vs right"Left wing", as opposed to 'Right Wing" means that the ideology is leaning towards socialism rather than capitalism.
The NDP (the National Democratic Party) used to be called, the Social Credits with an emphasis on Social. You can thank them for introducing health care as part of the federal and provincial budgets. (you can also thank them though for not planning it well enough down the road: our education system did not anticipate that we would need so many doctors...hence the numbers of doctors who come from countries where they are actually in need more than in Canada.)
To me, it makes no sense to associate yourself with only one party. Both sides have some good ideas and both sides have some fucking nutters amongst their ranks.Fair Deals Steve wroteCOLONLee wroteCOLONNot a leftie nor am I in Toronto

To be fair, he's not sorry he did it. He's sorry that he got caught.CAM wroteCOLONI actually Love the guy. He has lived up to every political promise he has made and in a mayoral sense is very good. Too bad a guy can't have a good time every now and then and not have all good he has done erased.
who cares though? Im sure plenty of politicians are out there snorting huge lines of coke and banging hookers. Only difference of course is that he got caught. I dont care what you do in your personal time as long as you do what you said you would dofor the city during the election, which he has.Lee wroteCOLONTo be fair, he's not sorry he did it. Yeah, Calgary's system kinda sucks for LRT. You need underground transit in big cities.KapG wroteCOLONFor me the fact that he fucking canned that LRT bullshit, means my vote was well spent in 2010.
Media cares, it gives them a story. He is adding fuel to the fire by acting like an idiot, making stupid comments.KapG wroteCOLONwho cares though? Would i have a warrant If in 1996 i got fined for no ticket on C-Train? lolLee wroteCOLONYeah, Calgary's system kinda sucks for LRT. You need underground transit in big cities.KapG wroteCOLONFor me the fact that he fucking canned that LRT bullshit, means my vote was well spent in 2010.
Fuck, we had 3 people crash into trains in one day. It's not like they are hard to see or move in unpredictable patterns.
It's OK if it's done properly. So far in toronto though thats not the case. Also, we are one of those cities that has to deal with a cold climate at least half of the year. Who wants to wait outside for a street car when you could be waiting underground where its much warmer and not snowing and cold and windy. Also a lot less wear and tear on the tracks when everything is out of the elements.Lee wroteCOLONYeah, Calgary's system kinda sucks for LRT. You know nothing of cold nor duration unless you've lived in Calgary.KapG wroteCOLONIt's OK if it's done properly. So far in toronto though thats not the case.
