Considering:
- Lehtera was part of Phion's 2013 roster submission viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8785&start=40
- he was not traded or released before Phion was ejected from the league
- he didn't appear in the sheet Bruyins was provided with
- Bruyns was told that sheet was his starting point and was not his business to look behind into Buffalo messy situation
- Bruyns' roster submission counted way less players than the updated limit (90)
the CC has ruled Lehtera to be still property of Buffalo.
This resolution is in no way supposed to take away from the importance of the roster submission as the key reference for players still owned by each franchise at the start of each new season.
Under normal circumstances, players missing from your team at roster submission will be considered free bbkl assets. If more specifics will be decided inside the CC on this matter, we'll make sure to post them in an official announcement.
Once again we've found ourselves wasting our time over some GM's lack of effort/attention to basic book keeping.
This shows how in this league someone not fulfilling his GM duties implies others having to spend much more time to cover for him:
phion doesn't feel like investing his time into keeping BUF stuff in order --> lots of discussions follow, eventually leading to his removal --> Chuck has to waste some time putting his hands into someone else's mess to get together Buffalo's assets and hand the new team to the new GM --> a couple of assets still get lost in the process --> the new GM has to waste some of his time defending his actions and those assets property --> CC members have to waste more time to address the situation (hopefully without generating more controversy out of it)
So the next time some of you guys think getting lazy about doing your required duties feels cool, try to think you're actually showing a lack of respect for the members that already invest more time than you to keep this league running.
