well said.Arian The Insider wroteCOLONHe's fair though, I'd trust him. You don't see many men out there who are both handsome yet fair.
If you are looking to be a playoff team or be a contender Ribeiro would be a great piece.Matthew wroteCOLONHe is the #1 center of Nashville centering James Neal and Filip Forsberg.
I would like a good return of pick(1st)/prospect + young roster player for him.
Ribeiro has a 1 million dollar cap hit.
Below are the only Centermen in the league with both as many FOW's and as many Points as Ribeiro. Also listed is their Cap hits. Notice there are only 8 of them.
As you can see his cap hit is far below the ones listed, and all these centermen would cost far more in assets to obtain.
Zetterberg 6.1
crosby 8.7
Getzlaf 8.25
Backstrom 6.7
Sedin 7
Johansen 4
Bozak 4.2
Giroux 8.3
Henrik Sedin kills penalties. Otherwise he and Ribeiro are pretty equal except for the 6 million dollar difference in cap.The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONHow many of those guys hit? Pk? Have a better plus minus, more pims, etc..?
If he is as good as you are claiming and your goal is to make the playoffs it would probably be a good idea for you to keep him so you can compete, and not have to shop him so hardMatthew wroteCOLONHenrik Sedin kills penalties. Zetterberg shoots more than Ribeiro. Otherwise they are pretty equal except for the 5 million dollar difference in cap.
Both players, like Ribeiro, are 34 years old.
To teams that are top 10 in the league but will never compete with you in shtoi, adding a player with strong FOWs and pacing 73 points could help them beat a team like yours in other categories, for minimal cap. Most of those teams Ribeiro would be a very large asset to. For some reason you seem to continuously think he is shit. It is not like I am asking for what it would take to acquire a super premium piece. FFS, how many players in the league have a cap hit of one million, are pacing 70+ points, and are taking high levels of Faceoffs? Oh and Ribeiros +/- is currently + 13, so no, not many centers have a +/- as good as his either.
Who says I am looking to compete? My team won't make the playoffs. I am rebuilding.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONIf he is as good as you are claiming and your goal is to make the playoffs it would probably be a good idea for you to keep him so you can compete, and not have to shop him so hardMatthew wroteCOLONHenrik Sedin kills penalties. You in several PMs have told me your goal is to compete this year, and that you felt our final week matchup would decide who made the playoffs...Matthew wroteCOLONWho says I am looking to compete? This is a good source of FOW & g/a/pts/plusminus for a playoff team who isnt quite a premiere offensive team yet. Ribeiro is pacing 73 points. And his cap is only 1 million.Matthew wroteCOLONHe is the #1 center of Nashville centering James Neal and Filip Forsberg.
