I've been 2P for way too long --> Josh beefed his H2H with Weber, so I suspect a change in the standings upcoming.

Montreal and New Jersey switch places in the East
Nashville moves up to 3C at the expense of St. Louis who drops to 2WC - in their H2H meeting which Nashville won 10.5 to 5.5
Chicago moves up to 1WC with a big win over Anaheim
Winnipeg drops out of playoffs to 9th after losing 13-3 to Colorado

I was actually making in point, that ya, if we make such changes the outcome is enormous, hence why I !deny the W-L-T format for sure
we mirror NHL based on number of GP (82) which is cool as shit, but the scoring of the standings format change is way too drastic
*hence, isn't nick's 72 page essay on how it's not drastic really, void?*

After Week 15:
Habs move up to 3rd Atlantic at the expense of Tampa, who moves down to WC2-hanging on by 1 point over Sabres
Sabres fall from WC2 to 9th even after winning their matchup
Devils move up to WC1 from 9th
in the West,
Minnesota grabs top spot over Avs in the Central Division via more wins - tied in points

hardly a summary of what I wrote.
and like I said, not pulling my hair out if we don`t change it, but that doesn`t mean I won`t correct you when you`re wrong. Please refer your comments back to the american census, perhaps particularly interesting from your point of view given that minorities are something like 3-5x more likely to be missed (undercounted).
------------
Would it result in no difference: No, there would be changes.
Would the changes be unfair: No, they would more accurately reflect your team winning or losing weeks, rather than saying a specific win is worth more when compared to another win, or particular interest when that big win is against a tanker, and the other win is against a contender - to say it`s ass backwards would be totally accurate. (etc. etc. etc.)
Would there be a change in what`s
interesting: yes, the mis-conception of sniping one category from Mike via goalie PIMS and thinking that was cool is just silly. It is of no consequence, especially in this magnified scoring system. Would that same single contested category be MUCH more interesting and valued in a tight week where one category results in 50% change in value in the standings ---- big time.

this is absolutely true. As for being fair.. only if you consider fair caring exclusively about winning or losing weeks when our teams actually don't compete against each other on the ice like real teams do.
Would there be a change in what`s interesting: yes...
yes, the interest would drop to close to nothing for most matchups.
