All this talk about tanking I may as well ask now. You guys run a draft lottery right? And if so how do you do it? I hope different sized animals and mazes are involved.

His Ottawa pick is what is most likely to get him Mcdavid. And I offered Pick protection on the Anaheim pick if it does win McDavid.

My counter offer was Oleksiak and Wennberg for your pick. A top 10 pick in the strongest draft class since 2004 and a chance for McDavid.

I'm not interested in McDavid. A #10 pick for 2 players selected at #14 who are already in the NHL on 1st year rookie contracts makes no sense. It is giving you 2 of basically the same piece for 1.

You have no idea if it is a better piece. These pieces are in the NHL. For all we know that pick could never make the NHL. He will be a bust, like Jake Virtanen.

Jake Virtanen isn't scoring like he did last year.

He played injured at the end of the year and hurt his shoulder. He's back and better than ever.

He has the same point pace as last year, and scoring less goals. in his draft + 1 year.

This can't be, someone else in BBKL saying the same thing i have been saying for the last 5 years. Picks, no matter what place, are all still gambles. First rounders for the most part, are like 75% likely to play at least 25 games in there career, after that, its a complete joke. That is why my team has no depth and barely any picks and the reason i will get the player i want for Iggy + 1st because this league is obsessed with picks and youth. I may have no depth or picks but I have been in the top 5 teams of this league every single year and i will be in 2 more years as well as much as others may disagree. I make a few trades here and there. Just enough to stay on top but not enough to fit in with the gang.

I agree. I cannot see your team regressing as much as Steve predicts. It is also why I am not interested in the pick you offered in 2016. As late as it is it has about a 50% chance of landing an NHL player and a 25% chance of landing a good NHL player.

He is scoring less goals because Vancover told him to focus more on the defensive side of the game yet he has a higher ppg total than last year

16 points in 15 games as opposed to 71 points in 71 games. And this year he is on the 1st line as opposed to second line. So he should be scoring more.

Lol, Steve has a good team but he trades too much. He takes 3 steps forward and 1 step back. We also like to joke about each others team and how they suck.
