How about may 3-13th. Most teams are done by Thursday. That makes 99-97gp in bruyns favour, and 95-91 strictly skater gp in bruyns favour with current lineups (although I may still tweak mine, but not enough to overcome the 4 gp deficit).

Would that work for you Matt?

I’m good with whatever, I prefer more than one week because if we have the games we might as well use them.

Sucks to lose all the CGY-VAN games since I have players and you don’t but I’m not going to make a big deal of it. Looking at GP before we start doesn’t mean we finish with those amounts. I’ve got some injuries and we both could lose players tonight.

If GMs decide stopping on the 13th so you don’t get an extra Nylander game and I lose 4 Miller + Motte and 3 Mangiapane games makes for a more even playing field so be it.

Only argument against it is lots of rounds teams have GP advantages, you had 12 against VAN for example. This schedule is weird this year and having the only players playing for 3 games wouldn’t happen in a normal year so I agree it’s probably the most fair way to do it.

Just as an observer, I'm not taking sides with either of you...isn't part of the strategy to dress the best lineup in response to the schedule rather than making the schedule equitable? Would you rather play a guy that has only 2 scheduled games over someone who might have 4 or 5? Wouldn't you dress a player that hits a category that you're trying to get the advantage? Both of you have goalie options...there's plenty of strategy there.

Bottom line, let the best team win...Matt is the defending champ and was the best team in the regular season and went through some tough teams to win the Wales Conference. Matthew is an improved team on the rise and is peaking at the right time. I don't see how the right team won't win no matter how you slice it. You can't luck your way through 3 rounds of our playoffs.

Well the voted on finals schedule in cc was a 1 week final prior to the season. 7-0 votes. So are we being malleable to the 1 week final or the full schedule, or an equal amount of games. So you see how it can get messy when we are now changing things. Why would I agree to a 2 week schedule now when it goes from equal gp at week 1 to him having like 10% more skater gp?

I want things to done fairly (for both of us).

Glad Varlamov picks up 3 straight shutouts when it doesn't matter for me.
