Have been seeing lots of young men mostly with concerns for this in the ED and still have yet to diagnose it.
So odds are it’s likely nothing. If it is peri/myocarditis, often not severe.
Good luck man!
Thanks Mike! I’m not freaking out or anything, but I do want to know what’s going on. Like…something is definitely not right.

Edit: tbh, I didn’t even really know there was any side effects (rare) that effected the heart until maybe a week of feeling the symptoms. Even then I didn’t read up on it because I figured it was just minor and would go away on its own. It’s not gone away on its own tho and was pretty bad today (still not to the point where I was freaking out, but I was getting slightly more concerned ). That’s when I did a bit of reading and decided to phone up my doctor. I explained what was going on and he told me to come in and see him tomorrow.
Sounds good man. Hope you ecg looks good tmw and whatever other testing he orders is A-OK
So saw the doctor, says heart sounds healthy and I don’t have any high blood pressure. Have to go get blood work done on Monday and have an electrocardiogram done. If there’s no improvement During the week gonna go get my
Brother to do an echo.

He believes it’s probably from the vaccine, but he isn’t overly concerned and doesn’t think I should be stressing myself out.

Did you doctor say why he thinks it’s from the vaccine?
Just curious

Just what he thinks is likely. He’s not 100% or anything. That said, my hearts never done this in my life and it only started happening a handful of days after I had my 2nd dose of Moderna on June 21st. There are also reports, rare, but legitimate reports of there being cases where the mRNA vaccine has caused minor cases of myocarditis. Typically in younger males such as myself. If it’s something else, that’s fine. All signs point to it being the vaccine tho *shrug*. I’d still get myself double vaxxed again. I think I’ve just had shorty luck here lol

It’s also entirely possible it’s just coincidental that all this is happening after 2nd dose…certainly doesn’t feel that way to me tho

And he’s also assuming it’s your heart. Lots of non heart reasons to have chest pain/discomfort. Sounds like you’re in good hands Kyle.

Had no idea some countries mixed. Although it's not many of them. There's likely not to be any combinatory effects from combing any of these mRNA vaccines, but who knows really. Not sure how in depth the research has gone into determining if one dose of two different vaccines would be health/safety wise.

Fiancée was the exact same mix, no side effects after first and felt terrible after 2nd.

I had two Modernas and only felt sick after second so not reading too much into it but she seemed worse than I was

yea its not dangerous by any means
i think it has more to do with the fact that her first and second dose was not that far apart in date
mine was nearly 4 months apart in feb and may- hers was about 2 from may and july

It's almost expected to feel like shit after the 2nd one at this point. I've read some articles that seem to hint that it really depends on hydration level and immune system function. Who knows for sure
