Yea I am lucky to be so close in so many categories but this week was a wreck right from the start. Caron with the Flu, Wilson being benched, Carkner being benched, Demers on IR after the week started, Krejci with the flu now. Brutal. Might have been different if i didnt miss those games. Either way Scotts peripheries with all his D-men playing and in more games would have prevailed. This was a good old fashioned ass whooping. Congrats to Scott. Hopefully someone else ca give him a challenge, because i cant!

Yeah Scott...Kyle isn't the lucky one this week...I've followed his team closely since he beat me, and this is easily his worst week all season long. Outside of goaltending your team was very beatable this week, and I think you would be the first to admit it. That said you beat Boston more often than not.

Well, not to talk shit about his team but he's had similar weeks to his week this week.. I wouldn't say it's his worst week EASILY. And if we want to play that card, this week is EASILY the worst offensive week I've had.. my peripheries are amazing but if healthy, I'll get that week in and week out. But I guess you're right, I was the lucky one this week no doubt about it!

Still games to be played tonight, the match-up could easily tighten up. I'm gonna win but by how much?

I would say it's his worst by a fair margin, assists were way down, gwg were at a worst, goaltending nowhere near as dominant etc.

That said you are right, you win more often than not.

Lol, what an embarrassment to be part of a thread called the the Main Event. When it rains it pours. My team is really faltering. When it was mentioned that i was top 5 in most categories it was really shocking. That leads me to believe that there is just a lot of really bad teams in here, not that i am a good one. lol

Scotts team was on a down week and was beatable if i could have given him any competition. The Boston Bruins are in a funk and that had a big impact. Not that it would have made much of a difference but losing all those players to injury and Flu midweek really stung. That and having 2 players active that were benched, lol. Th more i think about it the more i regret some of the deals i have made this year. Some real head shakers. Oh well, I will adjust and I apologize for not giving you much competition Scott, I know you enjoy the close matchups. Hopefully next time we meet is in ECF and I know Kareem will have something to say about that, lol. I get to face another strong SJ next week. hopefully i can ice a full lineup. Would have been nice week to be using emergency injury callups. Please, do not put my team in any more highlights of the week threads, they are bad luck. I got fucking destroyed in my football poll too today by the last place team and i am 2nd out of 12. Oh and the Bruins are sucking donkey balls. great day...
