He's 32. He missed one year. He played from December onward in 2009-2010 and had 34 pts in 45 games.bills09 wroteCOLONWhether he has a lot of hockey to play in his career is irrelevant and to expect his game to be at the same level as it once was is a joke...Shep wroteCOLONMarkov is 32.. he still has lots of hockey left in him. lol
he has hardly played in 2 years.
Ill bet 52 in 81sgupca wroteCOLONMarkov if healthy should be deadly this year, I would imagine his body is well rested and ready to go. IMO he'll finish with 44 points in 60GP
That said, I'd still take JJ over him!
I don't need a GP clause for Markov.Nick wroteCOLONIf anything the bet should be markov compared to JJ on mike's power-ranking system - and only JJ gets a gp clause (his durability is not a topic here).
The second half of 2009-2010 he was great. He's really just missed one season.cliff11 wroteCOLONIt's funny how a guy can be hurt for a couple of seasons and has no respect but before he was hurt this guy was unreal and one of the best d men in the league .... I think he might surprise a lot of ppl this yr

Exactly
Let's make a points bet (no offense Michael).Nick wroteCOLONIf anything the bet should be markov compared to JJ on mike's power-ranking system - and only JJ gets a gp clause (his durability is not a topic here).
I'll make the bet based on Mike's power ranking stats. I'd be curious to see how everything is weighted, too. Unless hits are the best thing to have, than Markov would simply crush Johnson based on his 2008 stats (or prorated 2009 stats) vs. either one of Johnsons years of 2010 or 2009.Nick wroteCOLONI'll pass on that. We're not just talking offense.

Markov v. Johnson (ppg) minimum 65 gp each, I am more confident in Markov than I was in Tanguay last year.
I am willing to pro-rate every single H2H stat...But I want a gp minimum of 65 or 70.Nick wroteCOLONI'll pass on that. We're not just talking offense.
No knock on your rankings, I just don't know how it is weighted, which is why I opted not to use them.Mike wroteCOLON*cries*MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONLet's make a points bet (no offense Michael).Nick wroteCOLONIf anything the bet should be markov compared to JJ on mike's power-ranking system - and only JJ gets a gp clause (his durability is not a topic here).

My rankings are nowhere near scientific. They still need a lot of work.
