Please make sure it's Shiv, as we're having a bit of a lover's quarrel at the moment.

Scrivens in today, also hearing Schenn out?
Reimer out for foreseeable future.

Schenn needs a good benching.. especially if RW and Co. aren't going to let him play through the struggle. 8-10 minutes is ridiculous.. he needs a wake up call from somewhere.

Amazing news about Scrivens, terrible news about Reimer...That could be a real back breaker if Scrivens is unable to dominate consistently.

Schenn is a scratch today, Franson in for him I believe. Reimer suffered a set back seems like it isn't good news overall. Wonder if its another week or longer, Scrivens also got told about his start earlier this time so he could fly out famliy to the game.

What a horrific night of hockey...And to make matters worse, this blowout essentially ensures that Jonas Gustavsson will be the Toronto Maple Leafs starter for the foreseeable future (FML).

Poor scrivens, not a great showing but after the 3rd goal the team stopped playing, after the 4th until mid way through the 3rd period was the worst I've seen us play since the first year without mats.
Franson was terrible.

This is why Scrivens shouldn't have been started tonight. He gets raped. Gets his confidence rattled. Jonas' confidence isn't doing great either now that a call up steals a start from him after one game against Columbus. Bad move altogether. On a side note, fuck Tyler Seguin and the Bruins.

That is a terrible analysis, I swear some of you have never played sports before... If one bad contest or competition for a spot rattles an athlete they are in the wrong profession. I am confident this is not the case for Scrivens or Gustavsson, it's one game. Granted it was terrible for everyone involved, but it was just that, one game, the goaltenders will both move on and learn from it, as will the team.
It's also incredibly idiotic to start the lesser of two goalies out of fear of a blowout.

I commented in the CBS chat box that last night might have been the worst effort I have witnessed from any Toronto based sports team before, that was in the heat of the moment, but upon reflection it's not far off from the truth.
Hopefully the Leafs can turn it around Tuesday against the Panthers, and *fingers crossed* that the Panthers start Theodore over Markstrom. Believe me, it makes a significant difference...

i for one am shocked that of all people kareem would make a hyperbolic statement in the heat of the moment that he would come to later regret.
