3. Trading Schenn for JVR
4. Busting Komi's knee to ensure we put him on LTIR until his contract expires.

Exactly, Similar to hudler both of them had pretty poor seasons, but worst case both can slot in on the 3rd line. Better than armstrong now who never had much offensive potential.

Hudler still had ~50 points, he'll be one of the more sought after UFA wingers after Parise IMO.

Agreed. Hudler has had 3 50 point years and one being this year, wouldn't really call it a down year. If anything he boosted his value back up.

Oh and Penner is terrible, can't fathom why any fan would be routing for him as a signing. Then again I've had my team in the playoffs, desperation causes odd reasonings.
