I believe it was just speculation because he was talking to Poile all weekend at the draft, our need for a potential #1 C is obvious, and Wilson seemed to have fallen out of favour with Trotz.

Please not Colborne, he's not far from NHL ready, and brings serious size with him.

Although they have nice young dmen on the way up, losing Suter is a big deal. They weren't playing Wilson at C, so they don't need a replacement C. Wilson is out of Favour with Trotz because he doesn't have enough in common with Fisher, not because he's the clone.

Colin Wilson is a very offensive player, and until his decrease in ice time, being cut, and down a line, he was leading their team in goals, and if I recall correctly points (or maybe second at the time). Terrible end to the season.

I'd frigging love to add him, and would like to believe a trade could take place without us thinning out an already thin position.
