Hague seemed like a no-brainer pick at that spot.

Big fan of Hague for this format, was trying to trade up to get him in ADHL but was unable.

I also give Casper the benefit of the doubt and will assume he was just trying to trade down since he figured he could get Oettinger later, but if he sits on it again...

Add me to the fans of Hague, surprised he lasted so long in both leagues. Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the most impactful fantasy D in this draft. Had a couple chances to maybe move up with 33 + another 2nd but couldn't convince myself to move two good prospects for one.

Easy pick for me. Ratcliffe was one of the highest players on my board at 16. Makes me feel better about taking Oettinger at 16 with somebody I wanted falling to me at 28.

Like Ratcliffe, think he's a better choice than Rasmussen

I could understand passing on Hague. He is your classic low ceiling moderate floor player. Middle of the 1st is too high for him, but at 24 is a solid pick.

Good on ya, Casper...that was the last guy who on my list that I considered moving up for. I think I'm going to stick with 38 and see who falls.

Almost traded up to 24 to take Ratcliffe too, but I rolled the dice he would make it to me, so happy to get the guy I wanted without paying for it.

Robertson is another polarizing guy, I've seen him as high as 23 and as low as 75. If he can improve his skating he should be a good player.
