the 8 hour window was by popular demand because the past few drafts the final round 5-7 picks really dragged on.

Just made my first pick of the draft, in the 5th round. Good times. Took Dotchin, high on that kid but we'll see what happens.

give me a couple names when you're close (or someone else) and I (or they) can help you out
Thanks.. i don't see it a problem in previous drafts.. but for this draft.. the guy i want is ALWAYS taken just one or two picks ahead of me thats why i didn't give a list to anyone really except steve helping me out in the first round

I've got back-to-back picks at the top of the 6th...if you guys finish the 5th during the day today, I'll pick when I get back from work.

I'm not sure if I actually own the pick I looked on my trades and could not find record of it, so I figured I didn'thave the right to claim ownership to the boston pick if I can't prove it

For clarification:
Tyler Bunz was originally drafted in 2010 by Anaheim:
http://bbkl.ca/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=134 ... unz#p10405
Has has not been included in a roster submission for the last 2 years:
2010:

2011:

He is listed as a free agent in CBS:

Cliff does not have a place holder on his roster:

Here is a search for the word Bunz on the forums:

I'm throwing a flag on that...he's signed to a contact.

(Believe me, I'm well aware of his roster situation)

ahh, i guess that explains why i had the feeling he was owned.
The fact he is NHL signed is irrelevant for his Entry Draft eligibility.

You can't draft signed players...can you?

he is draft elidgible still, although no record of Cliff releasing him.
He loses out due to poor bookkeeping.
Good find Lee.

you can.
From the first post of this thread:
- eligibility
All bbkl-free players (i.e. players not owned by any BBKL team) born between january 1st 1992 and september 15th 1994 are eligible for selection in the 2012 BBKL Entry Draft.
Additionally, bbkl-free players born between january 1st 1991 and december 31st 1991 that have not played a season in N.A. when 18,19 or 20yrs old are eligible as well.
All other bbkl-free players are eligible for the waiver draft instead.
It was the same for our 2011 Entry Draft btw.
And BIlly is right, basically Cliff lost him when he didn't submit his name for the 2010 season.
