Timmins had a big year, but I get a Matt Finn vibe from him. No idea why since I didn't really watch either player in the CHL.
I've watched a bunch of Timmins highlights and the thing most scouts are talking about (and I noticed in his plays) is his poise and how he is NHL ready from that perspective. Still has other areas to work on but they will come. Also a right handed d-man who can put up points is hard to come by. The fact the chart shiv showed indicates he (and likely the team) get a lot of even strength points is also pretty nice.

I had Timmons on my short list at pick 41. He may go first now, but I'm not convinced. He reminds me of Stuart Percy, at the same age.Robin Hood wroteCOLON
