i was happy with our changes, i'm not too worried about losing bozak or macA this summer, i think Frattin and colborne are ready to take on bigger roles at the NHL level.

I would have liked to add robidas as well, but during the deadline chat they said dallas wanted frattin in return for Robidas

fack that

LOL not ironic at all. TSN is like any news paper or any media for that matter, it caters to it's largest fan base. TSN tells Leaf fans what they want to hear just like CBC (minus Don Cherry, he gives his honest opinion at all times). If you are listening to the TSN panel for anything other than Leaf news, it is a pretty good place to go, but these guys know what fan base pays their bills and in turn tries to please them. Always has, always will and I can't blame them for doing so.

I do not think the leafs were winners or losers at this trade deadline. I think if they added Lou they would have the "never know" factor come playoff time and could make a serious run with him in net. That being said they are an organization going in a very right direction and aren't expected to win everything this year. They have time to wait things out as guys like Kadri are only going to get better. Staying put keeps them on their current track which looks very promising but nothing is a guarantee so you can't say it is a win either.

Oh and 100% understand your frustration Kyle. Hard to be in a league so dominated by one bias lol. Every fan is biased, just wish we had more biases represented in hear. We just need to start a thread for non leaf fans lol. Although we all know it would be over run by them in an hour lol.

I agree

really hard to win on a deadline day when you only make 1 small move, and pretty hard to lose using the same logic.

We're holding steady, can't complain about not making a bad move.

He's having the worst offensive year of his career. How did you expect Nonis to get more than Burke paid?

We traded for a pending UFA ? He's currently on contract for a while, and it felt like there was a market for a vet puck moving d-man. No doubt out d-first system has impacted his low point totals, I personally do not like JmL as a player at all, and would like to have gotten a prospect ahead of the 2nd we moved (in terms of development).
