Slot Bozak in on the 3rd. Where he belongs. or 4th. Weiss, Kadri, Grabs and Bozak down the middle would look nice.

let bozak walk for the $ he'll command, put that towards the ridiculously undervalued Weiss. Weiss Grabbo Kadri as the top9 C's I'd Love, focus on having three lines that can actually punish the opponents offensively.

i was talking to shep about this, i have a feeling the leafs would send Liles for Weiss's rights, just to shed his contract. I also think Liles would do well in Florida paired with a guy like gudbranson

Bozak rights to COL for whatever

COL retains some cash and trades us Stastny at @ 5mil for JML and good futures (1st and a good prospect or something).

Liles would make sense as a nice secondary PMD in FLR ... good fit potentially. If Nonis did that, my reservations about him would be significantly alleviated.

am I the only one who would like us to buy out Grabo and get Weiss and Keep Bozak?

Weiss is going to want a truckload if money, and I honestly do not see him as anything near a top line C.

Very minimal improvement over Bozie, and Bozie doesn't have the injury history and is already broken into our system + has chemistry with Kessel.

i think any on-ice chemistry between bozak and kessel is highly exaggerated. they might be best buddies off the ice, but i see very little in terms of on-ice chemistry there. im confident kessel looks and performance exactly the same with any other average - good center playing with him.

I agree. And Weiss is better than Bozak and is a playmaker. He'll fit in great on that line.

May be over exaggerated, but it is still fairly evident imo.

The Connolly experiment left a bad taste in my mouth and I fear the same of Weiss.

1 year contract - 4.5ish mill I wouldn't mind. But I would want to keep Bozie around as well.

the Difference between Weiss and Connolly is huge.

Weiss can skate, has an awesome 2 way game, doesn't get hurt every 2nd shift.

connolly is basically a sucker version of Jason Allison. has some playmaking ability but cant really do much else.
