with Kadri looking sharp next to JVR and Kessel, does he stick? guys like kipper and bobby mac seem to think he should, but said he probably wouldn't

No chance imo. JVR - Bozak - Kessel will stay.

I've been saying this for a year now,,,,he's worth every penny..the guy just knows how to finish...
and anyone who doesn't think a good goalie (who stopped 43 shots) didn't win us the game either had too much blue-aid or didn't watch the game...the oilers had a lot of quality chances last night, esp right in front of the net.
Man be honest with me: did that 43 shot game look like a 43 shot game? Because it didn't to me. Like Nick said, Edmonton was not really a threat many times. I'll take a 43 shot game like that every time if we get the number of 2 on 1s and quality chances we did in our 27 shots.
The shot total stat is so abused by media. It doesn't tell the whole story at all.

i thought we finished our chances but the oilers didn't
they had some awesome chances in front of the net, the just hit reimer (i dont even think he knew that were coming) and yak was left all along a few times in front of the net. In a few years he wont miss those chances.

guess not, not in the way you mean it (like it happens in soccer for me).

JVR-Kadri-Kessel will stay if they keep performing like they have the past 2 games.

I've played 14, you've played 13. But I've played 2 Goalie GP.
Lol you need to calm down. It's Wednesday. I know this will be a close week. I have 3 guys out, you have 2 out. I actually think you have the edge tbh. Your team has been better so far this year, though by your logic, the Breakdown on CBS doesn't mean anything haha (had to)

Potential for 51 + 2 goalies games for me. 47 + 3 goalie games for you.
I've missed Kules, & McGinn once already, Shiv shy Burns so far, about to miss giro and perhaps stemps....Guess it's just percetion, looks rather close.
Better roster management on my part would have had McGinn out and Coyle in... news was very slow coming on both parts.

Stemps looks to be heading to IR. should aid in the comeback.

Yep - small separations between the top teams, so far the categories on a weekly basis have gone my way
SuperMario wroteCOLONthough by your logic, the Breakdown on CBS doesn't mean anything haha (had to)
by all means I agree - there is no way I'd expect to beat your team 21/21 weeks, right now it's 4/4, and I believe it's extremely unlikely I'd go 10/10 -> so within my own belief's you'll beat me a couple of the next few weeks, and this week looks like it
I know it's early - I also don't like VAN vs Howard for me tonight which being 1 of 2 games on the week could cement those categories for you (2 wins already, hhahah).
It's a good night for the comeback to start though - Gardiner to find his scoring touch now that his minutes are back to consistent 20+ a night would be a help

Yea losing Stemps and Giordano has really hurt me long term. Luckily I have DET and FLA after Nick so might be able to weather the Stempniak loss.

Gunner and Ranger have both been awful early.
