Very similar to mine. I have Couture, Staal, Hall over Kunitz, MSL and Sharp, but I expect Kunitz to be there over Hall. Same D other than I have Letang over Vlasic and the third goalie spot doesn't matter, but I don't think Smith deserves to be there and there's a handful of goalies I'd prefer.

Fuckin crackheads, read and weep:
Paul Kim's Ultimate Team Canada line combination for game 1:
Kunitz-Crosby-MSL
Tavares-Toews-Sharp
Staal-Getzlaf-Perry
Couture-Bergeron-Duchene
EX) Giroux-+Stamkos-Nash
Duncan Keith - Shea Weber
Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Alex Pietrangelo
Jay Bouwmeester - Drew Doughty
EX) Brent Seabrook-P.K. Subban

Sharp-Crosby-Giroux
Stamkos-Toews-MSL
Tavares-Getzlaf-Perry
Couture-Bergeron-Duchene
Thornton
EX Seguin, Hall
Duncan Keith - Drew Doughty
Marc-Edouard Vlasic - Shea Weber
Jay Bouwmeester - Alex Pietrangelo
EX Brent Seabrook-Kris Letang
I think Subban will be snubbed on D while Kunitz, E Staal and Marleau will be left off the team despite being more then capable of making it.
Funny how Rick Nash isn't even considered a snub for most. I don't want him on Canada either but an 8M players absence needs to be mentioned lol.

I think my line 3 is the best
Knowing those 3 guys, they will be impossible to stop along the boards and in an advantageous breakout situation. Only maybe Swede d-men might be able to stop them once in a while

I like it too and I love Staal, I just don't see him making the team this year. Other than point totals, he has been freaking terrible this season.

I'd like to make sure we bring enough guys who put the puck in the back of the net, regularly.
I dislike the idea of bringing seabrook - I firmly recall him sucking last Olympics and he's not gotten faster or fleeter of foot since
Tbh it doesn't take much for Thornton and Marceau to not be on the team - despite their continued dominance. Although I do take jumbo before sequin or benn, I think all 3 of them would be used in a less than ideal role.
Having extra centres on the wing like toews, grioux, Richards, Bergeron, staal, is not a weakness. These are some if the most complete players in the world. Obviously they'd be used on draws as needed, but they each do a lot more than just face offs.
Giroux broke into the league as a sometimes #1 rw and sometimes a 3C, who PKed and produced. That's a versatile player, , they all pk and they've each won a cup playing a major role.
Now. I have a tone of trouble making the list, as it always seems like someone who should be there is left off, whether it be sharp, msl, duchene, Bergeron, Thornton or staal. Haven't touched on some guys like skinner, RoR or lucic...
The wingers I know make my team: Perry, Nash, and I think Sharp.
The centres whom I couldn't form an argument to not take: Crosby, Getzlaf, Giroux, Toews, as wingers couture, staal and if healthy Stamkos
That's 9firm and 10 with stammers (who would play wing as well).
2 winger capable spots left. And I just made a list without Bergeron, Richards, or Thornton. Shit is crazy. Problem of riches.

Great minds think alike! In terms of Nash, I dont think he's one of canadas best 4 offensive wingers.

wouldn't be surprised to see Marcus Kruger there as well. I know he is in the conversation and becoming quite the defensive forward in CHI.
I'd also throw Hampus Lindholm into the mix for a defensive position. Murray has lost his game imo and Lindholm is awesome.

He has worked really hard on his faceoff ability in the offseason and its really showing this year. He is also stsrting to find a bit of thst offense thst he was highly touted for over in europe.
Defensively he has been great for Chicago as you have said..
