Great news! I will delay my vote for approval of this idea until after it has been properly tested and we can all review the results.

Lol u guys wanna do 128 pts in a week wtf? If we change to multiple matchups a week then WLT format should be used. 128 points x 21 weeks or whatever the numbers are looks messy.

Why should you be rewarded for losing 8-7 to Toronto and again for 15-1 against Dallas? It's stupid. Just like the real nhl (which we try to mimic as much as possible) a win is worth the same as another win no matter who you play.

sort of a cleaner look, resembles the NHL as well.

i agree it makes no sense to keep current scoring with new format - way too messy. should be W-L-T, however the gap between good and bad teams is going to be enormous.

I wish we could have a test league like someone suggested to see how the standings would look so far in our league. I might do my own team later just to see what my record would be right now but I'm too damn lazy right now.

Keep the scoring the same except divide everything by 4. 1 category win = 0.25 instead of 1. Solves the messiness and point totals match what we have now.
