Im not up on all this but Lees post above seems quite logical to me.....we have dealt with compensation picks in the past.

I'm cool with it, but logically this allows one guy to benefit without penalizing the guy who is the reason we are in this? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me but honestly, at this point, Whatever lol.

Here's my final say if you like the compensatory pick... I thought the same as Mike. I thought you meant Lee gets a 1st, and Billy doesnt need to pay anything. As in, drop the issue of 2nd and 3rd.

I don't think it's reasonable for them to fine you a 1st at this point, due to their inability to make a timely decision. With that said, under the stated rules I am still due a 1st. I think a logical conclusion would be for the CC to award me 31st overall and have you drop the 2nd and 3rd round picks and have them acknowledge that they dropped the ball and will try to be better moving forward.
