it's kind of pathetic that someone got cut for virtanen, who's supposed to be an NHLer, only to have him come in and cost the team multiple games.

Sucks that either Canada or Finland was not going to make the semis but with a handful of contenders, someone in that group was going to miss out on playing for a medal. That's a really talented Finnish team.

Glad to see the Americans not jerking around with the Czechs...win and win decisively. Big tilt with the Russians potentially.

Semis should be good. Canada didn't deserve it.
