That stat is irrelevant...Snipeshow wroteCOLONI was just coming to post that your team has 40 more points based on last years stats, than any other team. 2nd is Scott.

this right here. believe me man there are several people in this league that are just as smart if not smarter than you. its nothing new LOL. you act like its rocket science to project how a player will perform in a season. Of course a player like John Carlson will have a terrific season. I'm telling you right now even WITH growth in numbers, my team's offence is significantly better than yours. peripheries is not even a contest.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON
Again Shiv, this is the difference between me and you, you look at last years stats and assume it will remain relatively similar, I study a players growth, study the coaches plans for said player in the upcoming season, study the numbers over not only the full season, but at different parts in the season. This last part is important to note as it can sometimes be an indicator of a big season to come, just ask Scott, he did the same thing with Stephan Robidas I'm sure. And most importantly look at the changes made and opportunities on said team. You don't...And for those reasons you're numbers will NEVER tell the real story.
if you do beat me Kareem, there wont be any excuses. a win is a win. but whether i win or lose know this: you are not even a top 3 favourite right now.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON As for injuries, you bet you're ass they will happen, and you better not use that as an excuse when I cripple you're depleted team, because that's the nature of the game
its not irrelevant LOL. and this is with savard injured all of last season, and vinny having an off year. with oshie, giroux and backes getting top line duties, simmonds putting up more offence, its not even close kareem. my teams offence >>> your teams offence.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThat stat is irrelevant...Snipeshow wroteCOLONI was just coming to post that your team has 40 more points based on last years stats, than any other team. 2nd is Scott.
It doesn't surprise me that you think that, after all you believe Vincent Lecavalier will put up numbers he hasn't in 4 seasons, and behind a superior centerman no less...But hey, who am I to ruin you're blissful parade.SuperMario wroteCOLONthis right here. believe me man there are several people in this league that are just as smart if not smarter than you. its nothing new LOL. you act like its rocket science to project how a player will perform in a season. Sigh...Yes you're offense is better Shiv, even though mine had an injured Getzlaf, Morrow, Kronwall, Gunnarsson, and Kessel, had no production from Kadri, MSP, and Carlson. Not to mention career worst seasons from Tanguay, that and all my players will regress while you're veterans wil continue to improve...SuperMario wroteCOLONits not irrelevant LOL. and this is with savard injured all of last season, and vinny having an off year. with oshie, giroux and backes getting top line duties, simmonds putting up more offence, its not even close kareem. my teams offence >>> your teams offence.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThat stat is irrelevant...Snipeshow wroteCOLONI was just coming to post that your team has 40 more points based on last years stats, than any other team. 2nd is Scott.
prospect knowledge wise you, scott, nick, steve are up there for sure but nhl wise you dotn know anything more than myself or anyone else lol. this league is full of people who know what theyre talking about.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONSuperMario wroteCOLONthis right here. believe me man there are several people in this league that are just as smart if not smarter than you. its nothing new LOL. you act like its rocket science to project how a player will perform in a season. As for intelligence, you are right, I am not the smartest, but I will put my hockey knowledge up against anyone in this league, there are a select few who challenge me, you're not one of them.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLON As for injuries, you bet you're ass they will happen, and you better not use that as an excuse when I cripple you're depleted team, because that's the nature of the game
But don't forget that Kopitar went hot to cold. Reason is he had a great start of the season is that he had great chemistry with Ryan Smyth. When Smyth got injured Kopitar didn't produce at will.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONSuperMario wroteCOLONMSP4LYFE wroteCOLON

CBS projections are so bunk.. before I traded Heatley, Koivu, Seto, Jokinen & Letang.. I was projected at 100+ points above anyone lol and I cannot see my team being the 2nd most offensive team lolSnipeshow wroteCOLONI was just coming to post that your team has 40 more points based on last years stats, than any other team. 2nd is Scott.SuperMario wroteCOLON 1. My team's offence is top 3 in BBKL
2. My team's depth is last place in BBKL (beyond my roster)
3. My team hits peripheries better than EVERY team other than Shep's.
4. Lidstrom is going to win the Norris Trophy this year. And Lecavalier, Gonchar, Savard and Modano will have fantastic seasons.
5, Howard can take ANY goalie in a given week. I'll even go as far to say that Howard will be a Top 3 goalie this year.
There are only two things that can make me lose this year:
1) Organizational Depth: My team can't handle too many injuries. <------ major reason why I think I will lose
2) Facing Shep's team in the final even if I am healthy <---- i will lose.
In short, Kareem the only way you will beat me is if my team has some major injuries. IF HEALTHY (big if) my team will rape yours.
But regardless, Shep is going to win the whole damn thing anyways so this is all moot.
It wasn't projections. It was what the teams did last year, factual stats.Raptactics wroteCOLONCBS projections are so bunk.. before I traded Heatley, Koivu, Seto, Jokinen & Letang.. Obviously it doesn't take into consideration injuries, rookies this season, etc. I'm just saying, based on what everybody's team did last year, Shiv has the most points and Scott the 2nd most.
I was more showing that Shiv's team is more than just a periphery slut.
There is nothing factual about using last seasons stats, which ignore: age, rookies, injuries, career best/worst seasons... It doesn't demonstrate shit, and like I said above is irrelevent. If you're goal was to prove Shiv has some elite offence, a simple list of his teams players would have sufficed, and FTR, that was not my point, my point was that he has sacrificed total points for more rounded stats, which is a FACT. Whether or not that makes him top 3 or 5 is useless to me, as far as I'm concerned it's a 3/4 horse race anyways, I'm more concerned with who is the best, and IMO Shiv is not the best in that regard.Snipeshow wroteCOLONObviously it doesn't take into consideration injuries, rookies this season, etc. I'm just saying, based on what everybody's team did last year, Shiv has the most points and Scott the 2nd most.

CBS has Oshie listed as a center, as well as: nhl.com, yahoo, hockeydb, and espn. How does that translate to Oshie is a center?
